Brad Cox - Bar Manager

A graduate of Kenvale Hospitality Management College, Brad began his career as a bartender at the ANA Hotel Level 36, Sydney in 1999.

He rose through the ranks quickly to become head bartender, then onto the launch of Cruise Bar in Circular Quay where he was the opening head bartender quickly becoming Bar Manager then Assistant General Manager of the Cruise operation which included bar, cocktail lounge, restaurant and events centre. He was then recruited by Sol Bar in Auckland, NZ as a consultant for their grand opening.

Brad returned to Sydney to accept the position of Bar Manager at the newly refurbished Blu Horizon Bar Shangri-La Hotel, where he managed the opening and steered the bar to numerous awards. In 2007, Brad explored his passion for food and became the General Manager of Jamil’s Restaurant, Bar and Event Centre on Manly Beach.

Brad has been recognised for his flair with cocktails and his proven track record for creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
